Perfectionist
Workshop by Mental fitness program
Perfectionism and Its Consequences
Do you recognize yourself in thoughts like: "Right is right, and wrong is wrong. I know the right way to do things. If ican't do it perfectly, I’d rather not do it at all. Others often have low standards, so I need to be better organized and more methodical to get things done. I hate mistakes. Perfectionism is good and it makes me feel better about myself "
If this sounds familiar, then you might be a perfectionist or on your way to becoming one
A perfectionist strives for perfection, order, and organization, but often in a way that goes too far. This can lead to tension, anxiety, and discomfort, both for yourself and those around you. No matter how hard you work, it never feels good enough. You might irritate others, making it difficult to live or work together. It drains not only your own energy but also that of others, as you continuously (and unnecessarily) raise the bar for perfection
Perfectionism causes you to constantly live with frustration towards yourself and others because nothing is ever perfect enough. The belief that perfectionism is always good is a misconception, and it can come at a high cost.
In this workshop, you will learn to face the consequences of perfectionism, set boundaries, and once again appreciate the beauty in things that are not 100% perfect
